I began my insurance career as an agent in 1970, eventually holding a position in management at an independent insurance agency. With my wife Nicole, we opened the Insurance Specialists Inc in 1991. Our first location was in the lower level of Park Fair Mall. After the Iowa Department of Tranportation moved their location to Ankeny, we relocated our office. I retired in 2012 and my wife Nicole took over running our agency. A few years later our agency relocated to our current location at 514 E Euclid Ave after a complete renovation of the building. In July 2023 I came back into the office to help out. My wife and I started this business the same year we were married. For 32 years we, along with our team, have been helping folks with their insurance needs.
